Let us at Addictive Aquatics LA provide you with worry free ordering. Here at Addictive Aquatics LA we’re all about the hobby. We ONLY sell livestock we feel is healthy enough to make the trip. Due to the fact that all of our live stock will be shipped we spend extra time and effort while hand selecting it from only the best available to make sure you have a hassle free experience while shopping with us.

Our staff is built from hobbyists who have worked or been purchasers for several large name stores in California. We have all come together to do as much as we can to make the hobby available to all, with as little harm to environment as possible. This is one of the reasons we sell captive bred fish as well as other species of inverts and coral.

HERE’S THE DEAL

Addictive Aquatics LA WILL GLADLY issue a store credit for the price of the dead item to use towards a future order (not to be used towards shipping costs) of any fish that:

• Does not survive for 14 days. Starting at the date and time of the package being signed For.
• Does not arrive alive. Period. Same goes for corals.

WE DO NOT COVER SHIPPING COSTS

Addictive Aquatics LA WILL NOT issue a store credit for:

• A shipment that suffers loss due to not being picked up or signed for on the first attempt by the delivery service. Period.
• Any live stock that dies due to YOUR negligence:
  1. Tank or system failure.
  2. Improper water quality.
  3. Putting specimens that should not be housed together in the same Tank.
  4. Not following OUR acclimation procedure.
  As we stated we have been in the hobby for years some of us for over a decade and we KNOW OUR STUFF... If you follow our acclimation procedure you will notice a lot higher of a success rate when acclimating your fish.
• Any lost live stock that is not reported to us within the 14 day period starting at the date and time the package being signed for.
• Any returned dead live stock that is returned without being pre authorized (E-mail us as soon as you realize the loss. We will reply within 24 hours with an authorization number for you to enclose when you ship it to us.)

Simply cover the fish with table salt then WRAP THE FISH IN FOIL WITH NO WATER .PLACE THE FISH IN THE FOIL IN A ZIPLOCK BAG WITH NO AIR OR WATER. Then place them inside of another zip-lock bag and place in your freezer. Now all you have to do is wait for your authorization number to arrive in your e-mail.

Exemptions to the DEAL

The following species are exempt for many reasons. Many of them have special dietary needs, specific water quality needs or they have the ability to secret toxins. This can be done when they are harassed, stressed out or even at the time of their death. This unfortunate act can be responsible for wiping out an entire aquarium. We can not cover losses sustained in this manner. Species listed below that are listed in red capital letters have they ability to secret such toxins. All other species listed below are simply not covered under our 14 day guarantee.
